It is not known who built The Mension but was built in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. Although a precise date cannot be given, the architectural elements of the building indicate that it was built between 1880-1906.The building was owned by the Sevil family in the Republic Period and has been preserved in this way. The building, located on Mithat Paşa Street, is facing the sea on one side. On the other side, it overlooks Mithat Paşa Caddesi, one of the longest and busiest streets of İzmir. The building, which has a total of 3 floors with the garden floor and the roof floor, has 440 m2 usage area.
Reconstruction by DKD YAPI with the original material while the roof and first floor floor are in collapsed condition The systems of the restored building have been modernized, allowing it to be used with new functions.
